I'm six weeks post op and have been at a weight stall for almost two weeks. I'm getting my proton and Water intake but my calories per day have been low. Exercising is hard because I get weak So I'm unable to do as much as I did pre surgery. how can I get this stall over and done with? Help

I'm on my second stall and I just had surgery may 15th. My first stall lasted5 days then I lost a few pounds within a week then BAM another stall...going on day 6. I lost one pound yesterday and nothing again. Its frustrating but can't quit so just keep pushing.

I have stalled numerous times. I am over it cause if you pay close attention your body is changing. Stay on the Protein, up it if you can and drink Water, drink water and then drink some water.

I stalled around that time too I think allot of people do your body is adjusting to the new way of life It will pass you will lose and stall then lose then stall. In the end you will lose the weight and that's whats important :) Dont let this bring you down keep up with everything you have been doing :)

I find the lower the calories I eat the slower I lose. I eat 800-1000 per day and am losing 2-3 lbs a week which I'm very happy with. When I was only eating 600 I was always tired, dizzy and didn't lose. My husband and I went to Vegas when I was 5 weeks and he laughed because I was totally spent by 8pm every night (that is soooo unlike me lol)! I also started adding some carbs. oatmeal mainly and I think that also helped. Good luck to you.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
