  5. I am going to Jamaica next week to celebrate my birthday with my girlfriends. I'm nervous about the trip. Should I take protein? Can I have a small Drink of alcohol... I'll be 8 weeks out... Please share your thoughts or experience!
  6. Do you dilute the isopure. I have the hardest time getting them down. They taste like Gatorade with gravel. although its clear, it was very hard for me to digest. My nutritionist suggested that I cut it with water or crystal lite. Ill try it again. I'm 6 weeks out and i tried it last at week 3.

  12. I just turned six weeks and I ate salad with chicken and crab meat yesterday. It went down well and I was so happy just to be able to eat something fresh and crisp. Salads have always been my summer go to. Just have to be mindful of the protein first!

  15. I've been reading the forums and I often hear people referring to slider foods. This has not been discussed with NUT so I would love for someone to explain and give examples of what they are. Disclaimer before the sharks attack: im not planning on eating them, just want the info!! Thanks.

  18. I am 12 days post op. I start my puréed food stage but I'm afraid to eat. I'm weak because I can't get as much protein as I need per day. Protein shakes are hard to drink, but they were before surgery. I don't eat eggs, yogurt, or cottage cheese... Having a hard time deciding what to eat first.
  19. Hang in there! I'm on liquid diet until Tuesday. it was ok at first but since has worn on me. This phase will pass and pretty soon you will be back to yourself! press on!!! We are rooting for you!
