Is everyone exercising? ?

Yes. Try to get to gym about 3-4 times a week! Doing mainly cardio!

Is everyone exercising? ?

I swim laps at the YMCA 4-5 days a week for about 40 mins each time. When I started I could only do 6-7 laps, now I get 15-17 laps in each time. Also I go to a Water aerobics class once a week and have started trying a couple cardio machines too. My goal is to walk at least 20 mins every day in addition to swimming but have not yet gotten that started.

What types of exercise are you all doing? Any suggestions for kick starting weightloss? I've been in a stall for the past 6 weeks and could use some suggestions.

Is everyone exercising? ?

my answer is "no," regretfully...I cannot seem to work it into my schedule, nor do I yet really have the energy...I am committed to adding that component, because I know that is why is contributing to my slow weight loss

Official weigh in this morning - down 55 lbs since my pre-op history and physical (H&P) which is how their stats are generated. Down 112 overall. Target for me, for 6 months, is to be at 195 (I'm 5'10"), which would be 50% of excess weight loss, and is a bypass target, versus a sleeve target. Woot!

I'm down from a size 24 pants to a size 16 (non W), and from a 48DDD to a 40DD (please, get smaller). And I noticed this morning that my gym bag actually smells like I work out, for the first time in my life :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
