how is your face looks like after surgery?

Recommended Posts

Here's my before (1 week preop) and after (8 weeks postop, down 45 lbs). I couldn't believe the difference in my face! The girl who does my nails said (in her broken Korean/English) "No lose more face! You not going to have any face left!" :D

That is an amazing difference you look like the sister of the person in the first picture..

I am pre-op, but have already starting speaking to my esthetician about great facials and skin tightening products. I use GlyMed Plus at home and they have amazing products for dark circles and I anticipate my home regimen may need to change post-op. anyway...I would encourage you to visit with a credible esthetician and treat yourself to a great facial!

I have people who don't even recognize me, so they say. The first two pics are almost 340 lbs and the bottom left was after losing 90 lbs, the bottom right pic is the most recent, I have lost 124 lbs and I think my skin is looking better.

Our faces show our weight loss first cuz the bones are closer too the surface. Also, my personal theory is that women lose weight from the top of our heads down! LOL!

Bur seriously, you may need to add some Omega 3 fats to your diet. It will help your skin and brain. Good sources, cold Water fish like salmon and sardines, avocados, organic eggs, organic Peanut Butter or other nut butters and nuts in general.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
