Hi Jeanie, I am 51 and was sleeved on April 4th 2013. I lost 30 lbs preop and have lost 55 post op. I feel like a million dollars! Best decision I ever made. I was in the store with my one year old grandson and people thought I was his mother! What a great feeling!! Good Luck you will do great!!

Today is my 3 months as well! Starting weight was 303 today I am 227. I lost 30 lbs pre op which gave me a good head start! I can't believe the energy I have. I'm 51 but I feel like I'm 25 again!! I can see the 100's straight ahead!!! I went from a 3 x shirt and 24 pants to a xl shirt to and 16 pants!!! I live my sleeve!!

I was sleeved at Hartford Hospital in Ct. on April 4th. Starting weight 303 current weight 237. Best gift I ever gave myself!

I was sleeved on April 4th and down a total of 65 lbs. starting weight 303 current weight 238. I was single for the past 3.5 years due to low self esteem too!! I'm finally getting my sexy back, lol! I actually had a nice coffee date yesterday and was feeling good about myself. I too had no interest in dating either, but it's amazing how much more confidence I'm getting as the pounds are falling off! Luv my sleeve rock your sleeve and your confidence!!!

Thanks for the tip about the mouth swabs! I will definitely ask for them! I'm surprisingly very calm tonight, tomorrow may be a different story
