I hope that is true OTR but to me and a lot of other people on here it seems like premium = paying. Since it has not been clarified that is the way it comes across.

Yes I'm sure if you'd like a premium membership the will be a fee. However if you chose not to subscribe to premium you would still have full access to the forum just not the premium features. In all likelihood standard membership(free) would not change much from what you experience now.

Can we at least bring back the right bottom corner chat room for people on the website. And just a thought change the color of the site every once in a while.

I think when Alex said he was going to "fix that in the morning" he was talking about the chat problems...

This site is not a public service. Someone has to pay for it. You want extra features? Well it costs. Do people really expect the site owners to do this out of the goodness of their hearts regardless of the impact on their pockets?

This is how the world works.

It is a public site doing something to assist people therefore it acts as a public service. Not extra features because the chat is already included just saying.

Being a website that is openly accessible to the public does not automatically create a public service. Having site owners who want to create something of benefit to people does not automatically require those owners to be philanthropic.

You appear to see your right to have this service as being greater than their right to at least cover costs. Do you know what it costs to operate and host a site like this? Particularly with features such as photo uploads and chat?

I suggest that if you want a free site for sleeve recipients with all the bells and whistles that you seek here, then start one for yourself. Out of your own financial and intellectual reserves. You think others should have it for free? Then first ask yourself whether you would give it for free.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
