I had surgery April 29 and as pf a week after surgery I had lost 25 lbs. I don't have a scale and try to save it for my doctors visits. Doing pretty well but have found the hotter it is outside the more I crave fluids and less I want to eat. Not sure what to do :-/

Surgery was April 17th and weighed 206. Im down 31 pounds but have been at a stall for about a week or so. If I up my protien will my weight loss increase? Also need some good ideas for meals. I do a lot of grilled and baked fish and nuts for snacks but need new things!!

I figured I'll post my stats as well - here are the details:

Height: 5,6"

4/13 - pre-op testing weight: 266.0 LBS

4/29 - surgery day: 251.5 LBS

5/31 - weekly weight-in: 239.5 LBS

It's been slow but steady and I'm loving the experience. Haven't had any issues with food or liquids so things are quite easy. Just need to incorporate more exercise as I've been slaking off in that department.

Sleeved 04/27... Starting weight 230.. now 200.8 - Almost 30 pounds down :)

I was sleeved on 4/2 and just reached 34 pounds today. I was stalled for 4 weeks... it was so frustrating, but it seems to have broken this week finally... gonna be a big LOSER! :D

i was sleeved 4/1 and have lost 25 pounds. stalled 4 weeks now...did you change anything in your daily routine to jump start the weight loss again? Very frustrated!!!

HW: 313

SW: 273 (4/23/13)

Congratulations!!!! Hope to join you in the next 2 weeks!

Sleeved 04/08/13 and down 39lbs (including pre-surgery diet - I count this because its valid weight loss and was achieved through sheer willpower).

I bought myself a spanky new pair of size 12 jeans last weekend and felt so happy that i could not only get them up my legs but buttoned up too without effort. I feel so incredibly fortunate to have been given the gift of this amazing sleeve. This is the best I have felt in a very long time. Is there homework to do? Of course! I track my calories, exercise and drink water till i feel like Im floating. Hunger comes and goes. Sometimes I feel like a bottomless pit and don't seem to be able to fill the void (head hunger??), sometimes I completely forget about eating if I am busy. Bottom line is I honor my sleeve and at the end of the day appreciate that it will not let me stray too far from striving to my goal. :)

I everyone.... checking in. If you have a stall try eating some avocado that might help. Under my profile in one of my blogs I have an article about how avocado can help with weight loss.

Surgery date April 17th 2013

HW - 346 11/04/12

SW. - 320 04/17/13

CW - 290 = total 56lbs

I joined Weight Watchers in November to get me started. Still going to weekly meetings for motivation, encouragement and accountability.

I drink 2-3 protein shakes and eat 1 Dannon light greek vanilla yogurt each day. I am on the soft food stage but have thrown up numerous times when I get gas blocked under the food. Soups and baby pears are great and avocado goes down well.

So happy that I finally had the courage to do this!

Congratulations to everyone else on their losses!
