Something in my sleeve....

Recommended Posts

My stomach doesn't look anything like that. Very smooth and straight. I'm thinking some fundus left behind. :( let us know what it is. Very concerned.

Hi,

I saw the dr Friday. I also had another upper gi that indicated things are the same. Ulcer over leak site, masses in sleeve. Also showed that my sleeve empties slow.

I still vomit frequently and I am learning to adjust to this new normal. Dr said to give it a year. So I am half way there!!! Masses should go away, vomiting should be considerably less if not diminished. Labs show I not absorbing Vitamins like I should be. So I am still using injectable a that I administer at home.

Drinking and eating is painful. Yes, even Water. The dr said to drink Smart Water because it will go down easier. She was right and this means I am better able up stay hydrated, which is super important given that I have developed kidney stones through my leak.

Honesty, I am not sure what to think of these masse and just waiting it out. In a way I worry, but I am also SO tired of everything.

Trying to stay focused and give all my positive energy to the "good" in this process

Thank you for all the love and support. :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
