popcorn for me. How can I eat only a tiny amount of something but not notice I ate half a large bag of popcorn at the movies!

So my hubby and my daughters went into Kmart to buy something. After they went in I realized that I needed something. I went in and got the thing I needed. I was at the register paying for my stuff when my hubby and kiddos came up to the register across from me. I saw my hubby look over at me, at which time I thought he realized that it was me. He looked me up from the feet to the top.....and then came across my face and then shook his head.
He didn't realize that it was me at all. When he did his face had this shocked and embarressed look on it. He laughed and said, "I just got caught checking out my own wife....haha!"
I thought it was pretty cool that I am skinny (and sexy) enough for my own hubby to check me out

I am so excited for you to start your journey! I do take PPI and it controls any problem. I never had any acid issues before my surgery. My doctor is now telling me that there is a procedure now that will take away the need for people to take any PPIs at all. My acid problems actually seems to be going away. I am under goal! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my sleeve. I had it a year ago. I cant get over waking up in the morning and feeling thin. And then I look in the mirror and geez. I think wow! Pivot, turn..yep it is me. Especially like how my back norrows to my waist! You have a lot to look forward to! There is nothing I cant eat with the sleeve. It is crazy easy. And no dumping, sluggishness, malabsorption issues. I used to love chips and candy. Not anymore! One candy and I think...well, thats kinda good but to sweet. I have 2 huge bags of chips and a huge bag of cheezies in my pantry. I have to toss them. They have gone stale. Just no desire for them. Good luck! I am already happy for you. I bet you choose the sleeve. But the decision should be yours.

What advice are you looking for? Do you want someone to tell you it's the best thing they've ever done? If so, HERE I AM!! Honestly, I wish I'd done this 10 years sooner. Over 100 pounds lost in less than a year and I'm back to ME. Yeah, my advice is to do it.
OTOH, You should be aware there is a small chance of complications and you should know that there is a risk going into the process. The risk is low, but it's 100% if you're the one with the complication. Most of the people I've seen who have complications still say they'd do it again, if that helps at all.
I'm still excited every single day to get up and see what my loss is for the day, to exercise, to enjoy living again, rather than feeling like I'm waddling along the sidelines of life. I'm a week shy of one year out from surgery and I feel like I have my life back. It's a tremendous feeling to know that I can do anything I want to do and that being fat is not holding me back!!!

Big hug for you! We are all the same or we wouldn't be here. Try your very best. You can do it. If you make a mistake just pick up and forge on! This is the BEST decision that you will ever make for yourself.

I am the lady that had huge complications at the same time as you. Mine was a twisted stricture. You look great! It sure is nice to be on the other side. I am at goal as well. I am sure you are enjoying your weight loss as It has made me feel so much better about myself.
