I feel so good about myself now :) I had my sleeve Aug10/2011 and didn't eat again until Dec 23/2011. :blink: I had a serious complication. :huh: A stricture that was twisted. :huh: I went through a crazy amount of procedures and operations. :huh: The care that was given to me was second to none. :) My stricture was repaired by having a strictureplasty. :) IV's, J tubes, feeding tubes through my noes twice! Migrated stents...Just oh my goodness thats just a few things endured. :huh: Having said all of that I love my sleeve now that it is repaired and believe it or not would do it again in a heart beat! :rolleyes: I also will be forever gratefull to the doctors and nurses that cared for me for months on end. ;) I just want to share my story for thoese that are going through a hard time. :( To let them know that it does get better. :) And mostly to let people know that this is just such a life saving surgery. :D Complications are very very rare. I am the less than 1% and I had serious complication and even I would do it over for life changing outcome. :) I am so happy
