I just threw a napkin at my husband :(

So I had a pretty good day I went to the farmers market and bought lots of tidbits for a casual dinner tonight for the husband and kids. It's hot so I made a big platter with two different goat cheeses, smoked salmon, sun dried persimmons, French baguette slices, and orange slices. I had some too but not a lot.. Well fast forward an hour or so and they all want to eat again... I'm upstairs because they are playing Xbox and I dislike it. I'm at the point of the evening when the cravings get the worst and I'm battling with myself not to sneak downstairs and eat something bad.. They (husband and teen daughter) send the boy (who is 11 and the charmer) up to ask "please can you come down and make pork buns because we are hungry again" 0_o I really didn't want to face the kitchen again because I'm weak willed. so my son says "you know what mom I'll try and steam them myself" He runs down and tries but needs help so the evil video playing ones yell up that he's going to burn the house down. I ended up going and doing it myself (with his help) and opened the cupboard several times wanting something sweet, but I just looked and closed it up again. But I'm on edge! I'm serving up the buns and one breaks open so it not "perfect" looking anymore, I handed it to my husband and I swear he looks at me like "oh thanks" Well ladies and gentlemen, that's all it took! I threw the napkin at his face and I might of said something like f**k you... Ok I did!!! OMG I'm a mess!

I must say my husband is a great man who does a lot to make my life easy ( works so I can stay home, grocery shops etc) So he's not an ass (usually)

By the way they are downstairs laughing, playing and eating..

I recent that!!! what you got against pork? You Jewish or something? I kid that's good that you spent time with them and didn't let food win

Ha! Why bother with a pork bun when there are yummy things like fish paste dumplings and BBQ chicken feet!

But really the pork bun would of been too filling and I wanted a bit of everything :D

Laura' date=' break up the Easter Egg and have a little piece every now and then and don't feel guilty! As long as you don't eat it in one hit there's no need to feel guilt and sometimes just that little piece is enough to get it out of your head.[/quote']

Oh Aussie, I wish my head worked that way!

But at the moment I have to admit I'm not that strong... I would of eaten it all in one hit :P

No worries though, my gracious husband took care of the offending egg yesterday :D

My husband is very supportive. BUT...sometimes he needs to think before he speaks!!! He swears I'm going to have a terrible sprain of my middle finger! LOL

If I had a nickle for every time I "sprained my middle finger" at the stb-ex, I would have been able to pay cash for my surgery....

See.. right there I disagree..you are that strong, you didn't eat it. You wanted it, but you held back. Looks like strength to me. Look, there's not a day that goes by that even after 20 years, I don't think that I couldn't easily slide back into my old lifestyle. I don't mean food wise either. But I use that as my strength. I know its out there, I know it isn't any problem at all to obtain and no one would ever really know..but I know, and I know that I (we) deserve better. Is it hard?, oh hell yeah, but can you beat it... yep you can. You aren't too far from where you want to be, and I wouldn't be stupid enough to blow smoke up your bloomers and tell you that it is all easypeasy, but you've come far and you are almost there. You are strong or you wouldn't have gotten this far now would you? Yep family doesn't get it, husband (or my stb-ex) isn't as supportive as we'd like sometimes. Speed bumps....don't let them drive the bus, you drive it...no one is really going to understand, because they don't live with it every day. You know you can do this.... :)

Hah! Good for you! I'd throw a napkin at my husband if he did that, too. Buttheads.

Ok John,

Usually I hate being wrong.. But in this case I will concede and say you are right. It wasn't pretty but I did do it!.

We are getting there though aren't we John? :)

Oh and by the way I stopped wearing bloomers

Several months ago and I am proudly wearing regular girls panties now :P

You look fantastic!!

And since I'm not willing to put into writing the variety and weight of things that I have thrown at my (very supportive) husband in the last 3 days since starting my liquid diet, I will simply say, I understand. :)

Lol ill never understand why people subject themselves to something as horrible as marriage.

Chicks....... .Guys have a sayin for that.....It's called...."Bringing a knife to a gunfight" ROFLMAO

If I had a dollar for everytime I threw something at my husband I could have self paid for my surgery without blinking an eye... I am over exagerating but you get the point... My darling husband (supportive as he is) has a VERY hard time thinking before he speaks... He makes me NUTS!

Luckily it was only a napkin!... I think my husband would be happy with a napkin!

Actingnurse,

I love you dude. But I gotta tell you when you find the right girl, you will know why!

Marriage when entered into with with a loving commitment is a wonderful thing!

Yes I got upset the other day, but we are committed to love and respect each other and we are so lucky to have this person at our side as we go through all of life's changes!

It's really a great concept if you think about it, I think its so cool to live side by side and experience life with another person up until the end :)

Yes I know I threw a napkin :P but that was a baby tantrum because I wanted to cheat (myself)

Haha! Don't I remember those liquid diet days!

And thanks, those first pants were a size 22 OMG

The new jeans are a 12! I'm still fat but not that fat anymore.

You know what? It's a tired old saying but...

If I can do it, anyone can!! I mean it. look at all the hard days I've had I've been here whining and SLOWLY losing, f**king up crying wishing and all along its been happening right underneath my own nose... Sometimes you have to take a step back and look how far you have come instead of looking at how far you have to go ( I know another tired old saying) :D
