Calling all slowish losers--please post your losses so far!

Recommended Posts

I am so glad you are doing this! Just one week post-op, so my losses are minute, but this is a great thing to see for someone who is not dropping 21 lbs in a week! Thank you!

And today I am 200.

As if to illustrate what I posted last night: I have been stalled for at least a week and posted last night that I was 214. I got up this morning and weighed and I am at 211. I love my sleeve.

Sleeved April 17 start weight 214, today 186. I didn't lose much the first month. I lose about 2 lbs a week which I'm happy with. Better to be going down than up!

Surgery date 3-14-13

Starting weight 216.6

Current weight 190.3

I feel like I'm losing sooooo incredibly slow. But I've never been able to say I've lost 26 pounds in 2 months so I'm trying to stay positive. I must admit I haven't been super diligent about working out. I eat approx 700 calories a day. I'm having a bit of a hard time adjusting to food. Still learning what my new stomach won't throw up. Yuck. I recommend taking photos. When you aren't seeing progress on the scale' date=' it helps to see inches lost (unfortunately I didn't take my measurements so I've been using photos).[/quote']

You look fabulous!

I'm 6 weeks out and still haven't lost anything beyond the first 2 weeks. :( I'm also having a lot of trouble with retaining Fluid in my lower legs. I've never had my legs swell up like this before (to the point where the skin is actually painful), so I'm hoping it's not anything surgery related. I see my primary care physician on Monday so will be talking to her about it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
