DR. Garcia, April 10th Same day surgery

Recommended Posts

As stated above, I am having the sleeve done with Dr. Garcia same day as I fly in on April 10th. I'm getting butterflies and I'm nervous, scared, excited, all wrapped in one. I can't believe I'm only 6 days away!!!

I was reading on the Mexico Sleevers FB page that some people were having to share rooms at MiDoctor due to overcrowding. Dr Garcia is also doing surgeries out of florence. The rooms are bigger, and if you are bringing a support person they will have a bed to sleep on instead of the possibility of just a recliner. I have also heard that it is quieter because its closer to the beach rather than the border

I am not talking about switching doctors. I am switching hospitals. He is now working out of a different hospital also.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
