Before:

After:

My Debbie' date=' RNY, Nov. 2011. Went from Size 22 to size 4. Went from 235 to 125.

Look at that face...beaming with pride...posin' n' stylin'...diggin' that camera!

My friends this is such a difference for her. No more feeling bad about herself. She's got energy coming out her ears.

This is the gal I married in 1973. Her old sassy snap is back and I'm loving it![/quote']

That is really great! Hope to join you on that with wife next year. Thanks for constantly being an inspiration for me and the rest of the guys. Let me also add that you two look so hip in that last diner photo.

I'm with Vicki - it's clear you're just busting with pride and love for your wife, and it's marvelous to see!

No wonder she was so successful (and, boy, was she successful!) with you as her cheerleader.

She's definitely lookin' GOOD!

You guys are the cutest couple! I *LOVE* seeing this and hearing about other husband/wife experiences.

Since hubby and I are both sleeved, it was one of the best decisions of our lives. I can't imagine life any other way, if you have a morbidly obese spouse, having surgery together (not exactly at the same time) is one of biggest support systems you can imagine.

I think that last picture of you guys together tells SO much of the story when you look at the before. WOW!!!

She sat down with her sister and read the original post and all of your wonderful responses. You should have seen the look on both of their faces. You'd think they were reading a certified letter stating that they had been named as the primary recipients in the estate of a Saudi prince!

Sometimes being human is not so bad!

Thanks, folks!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
