I am so excited for next week. I am ready for this change! I would appreciate any suggestions as I prepare for the week ahead. I have a one year old daughter and a husband who is serving in the US Navy. I have a lot of Protein Shakes, gas x strips, comfy pants and shirts....trying to find a multi vitamin....anything else i need?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Mine is also next Wednesday!!! I'm nervous and excited all at the same time. Where r u having yours? I was told by my Surgeon to also have a acid reflux med like Prevacid or Zantac. Also heard a lot of sleevers say to bring a firm pillow for your stomach for when you're getting in and out of bed. If you look through the threads there have been some posts that people have put up that lists a whole bunch of things to bring and not to bring.

My day is the 28th. I haven't got any comfy clothes (hoping i'll shrink into then out pf my old ones) but I was told to be sure to have Calcium, B12, Biotin, Protein, gas relief and Multivitamins, oh and a camelbak water bottle. So I've done all the above now i'm just waiting. No diet or fasting for me from my surgeon. I'm just enjoying my moments and reading to prepare myself! I wish you all the success expected and unexpected on your new lifestyle!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
