  1. Okay I am 8 months post op and down 70+ pounds. I am officially in wonderland and in a size 11/12 jean. I am very hard on myself and know I could lose another 20+ pounds. My husband and I have a 20 month old daughter and we would like to try in a few months for a second. I am terrified that I will gain all my weight back and be miserable with myself again. I do understand that there are a lot of emotions that come alongside getting pregnant after weight loss surgery but juat wanting to know others feeligs on the matter. How did you cope? Any information is greatly appreciated!
  2. My starting weight was 263, I am 3 months post op and down about 45lbs. I haven't seen the ascale move in weeks...I am exercising at least 4 days a week, getting plenty of Protein and struggling with my Water intake. I am wondering if anyone out there can give me some eating tips...I have a 30 gram Protein Shake for Breakfast and lunch, meat and veggies for dinner and found I need to cut back my pirate's booty snacking....any advice would be helpful. More water and no pirate's booty is an obvious that will start tomorrow! Thanks!
  3. Miaa-i too was told no need for preop diet, i am kinda doing my own to just make the transition a little easier. Good luck and thank you for the feedback!!
  4. I am so excited for next week. I am ready for this change! I would appreciate any suggestions as I prepare for the week ahead. 9. I am planning on surgery in late feb early march, I have a year old daughter and a husband in the navy, wondering if anyone out there with toddlers have any advice, I think I will need help but afraid to ask other navy wives, they have their own kids to take care of. How long before I can pick up my daughter after surgery? HELP!!!!!
  10. Haven't even met with a surgeon, I am going thru tricare and it looks as if the nutritionist has to clear me to go to the phyc test.
  11. She said hormones need to het back to normal. Not nursing, baby is 7 months, stopped nursing at 2 months. I want to ask my primary but not sure that will help since the nutritionist has to clear me for the next step.
  12. Okay so I'm almost done with my pathway, I met with my nutrionist last week. She told me I had to wait until my daughter was a year old before I could have the surgery! Has anyone else heard this??? I wish I was told when I first started! Very frustrated and disappointed!
