I am a sleeve sister! You are the first person I have seen on here with my date. I will be sleeved on the 29th down in Coral Springs, FL. I am traveling also but only 5 hours out. I hope this time before surgery passes by quickly and that we both recover well. We will ROCK the sleeve for sure. If you are Facebook you should ad me https://www.facebook.com/Food.vs.Life

I also started a YouTube Vlog. I may end up stopping or taking that down I am not sure. Either way this is my account on YouTUbe http://www.youtube.com/user/FoodvsLife/videos

Hello ladies! I'm March 29th in Jacksonville, Florida! I have a YouTube BuriedBombshell. I recorded my Hcg journey, but haven't decided if I will share my VSG journey just yet. SOOOO glad to have some Sleeve Sisters! Let's K.I.T!

PS- how is everyone doing on their pre-op diet?

The pre op diet is tough, but doable.

I don't really have to do a pre op diet, just trying to lose weight before surgery still so I am doing two Protein shakes and one meal. Then liquids 48hrs before. It has been kind of tough for me not entirely because of hunger but because of my schedule of working night shift. But, I have been doing ok with it. How about you?

Lucky you :). I'm hanging in there. Today was the first day I wasn't starving! But I went to Walmart and quickly discovered my lack of energy! All of my kids and husband are sick with fevers, so I'm taking Airborne and PRAYING that a fever doesn't postpone my surgery!!!

All of my children decided to get sick two days ago. But I live in the South where you use the air and heat in the same day :-/

We are getting close!!! I'm flying out tomorrow and surprisingly I'm not.nervous.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
