How much weight did u loose? Im at 30 BMI and although I'm trying to eat MORE I think I'm stressed about organising this surgery and the scale isn't going up - worried ill get to Mexico and after 3 days of liquids ill go under and they won't do it ...

Smh... This thread is shot and bringing out the worst in people. I dealt with this abuse in high school and now I hear this kind of crap from the people who should have the most sympathy.

Amanda Rae, these people from NZ are really friggin rude. I'm not so sure though if its because they're from New Zeland or If It's because they are thin and we are/were fat. Read back to the beginning of this thread when they were personally attacking me. The type of things they said to me were the type of insults that thin people throw at fat people. That's because these people are thin and want to be REALLY thin via VSG surgery. A person who was heavy in their life, even for a short time, would NEVER say those things to a person who is heavy because they know how they must feel. Being fat is hard. When I reach goal I will always know the struggles of people with serious weight issues.

We all are in the same war ... If I said anything it was tryin to get you to realise its a very slippery slope from 30 BMI UPWARDS. And the liver : I feel is fact as to why I don't have to do the pre op diet - just facts not meant to be mean but you and your mate started telling me I need therapy - and I don't believe you are registered to suggest that. We were making the point of dont u wish a little you'd done it before you got to your max? It would of been easier and safer for you. None of us can do it on our own and wed all like this amazing technique to make life a little easier.

yeah I agree well the only time I really call people fat is if its a fat ex or my bfs sister but I only called her fat ONCE and she hates me lol but I never call any one I don't know fat because I don't know their struggles and it really is hard being fat...

now I'm seeing just as many commercials, ads, and billboards for VSG... Its being marketed as an easy procedure and well it's working..

well not in Oregon...I have never seen a ad r anything..always knew about the bypass but the only way I heard about the sleeve was when my grandma took me to a seminar with her and that was like 4 years ago lol
