I am down from 310 to 217 in just shy of 6 months. I am pleased with my weight loss so far

I was sleeved on January 23, 2013. starting weight 300lbs. this morning I weighed in at 206.4. I am so thrilled, I am more motivated than ever to continue moving forward on my journey and see what else I can do!

Congratulations everyone, your stories are very inspirational to me!

I was sleeved 1/23, started at 265 and as of today 179:) I am beyond thrilled!! I go tomorrow for my 6mo follow up and know it will be good!!

I was sleeved on January 29. I weighed 257lbs the day of my surgery. July 29 will make 6 months and today I weighed myself at 180lbs. 77lbs down! I feel awesome.

Love my sleeve!

Down 110.5 since jan1. Yay!!! Slower but still coming off.

I finally hit 100lbs down yesterday. Surgery jan 9, weight 268.6. Yesterday 168.6 exactly. My doc wants me to get to around 135 so another 34lbs to go. I took pre-surg pics but lost all the pics on my phone so I have no comparison shots to post :(

**wait that's not true. I was 268.6 at my highest lol. Lost 40 before surgery. Down a TOTAL of 100 lbs.

We had surgery the same day and I was thinking I was 7 months but I think I'm 6 months how many months are you ? Because we had surgery the same day

Congrats to all! :D I'm doing good too! Surgery date 1/29 (no pre op diet) and down 53 lbs from 223 to 170lbs. Size 12! I am SO HAPPY! Wanting to get to a size 10 or 8 for goal, but happy if I stay this weight too.

Wow that would mean when hit 100 pound lost at 5 months .. Incredible

I had my 6 month follow-up yesterday. Here are a few of the things I've lost since starting this journey:

113 pounds

15 points of BMI

10 inches from my waist

3 inches from my neck

7 pants sizes

5 prescription drugs

high blood pressure

diabetic glucose levels

debilitating depression

Here are a few things I've gained/found:

healthy eating habits

energy

self-confidence

self-esteem

mobility

excellent friends

the desire to again do things I once loved

life

Not bad for six months :D

Stef,

Great job!!! Congratulations! What a great feeling, I'm so happy for you!

And all if us actually! Go us!!

This surgery was certainly life changing for me. I own a clothing boutique...I liken myself to akid in a candy store.....except with diabetes ....I couldn't fit in many of the clothing items I sold....except now! Now it's like.." Oh! I will have that...and that...and that!!!!" Love it!
