    Would you do it again?

I would do it 100000's times over! I've had no issues, and am well over a year out (surg date was 1/29/13). I've reached my goal and feel great in body, soul and mind. I eat what I want, just a lot less of it. Life is good, and I thank God every day for my sleeve!

Fat and Jolly to Skinny B

I wouldn't say that I've personally become more moody, but would admit to becoming more vain LOL!
  3. What a difference a year can make - here I am at Christmas 2012 and after Christmas 2013! Thank you all for the support and for the ones who doubted when I said "I eat everything in moderation" - well - judge for yourself whether or not that taco bell taco hurt me at all LOL! I've been doing wonderful post surgery and consider my surgery a real success - ready to ring in the new year and loving my new life! 1/29 will be my official one year - Merry Christmas everyone and I encourage you all to take the journey - you won't regret it. Love to all-
  4. Thank you! I remember those first couple weeks like it was yesterday and I know what you are going through! You won't regret it, a year will fly by. You too will be a success!

  7. ^^ well said! I couldn't agree more!
  8. You will get there! Slow and steady still equals great loss in the end! Just keep at it and you will reach goal!
  9. Thank you all for your support - I wish each and every one of you who have not had the surgery a very successful one - don't be afraid, the best is yet to come. For those of you who have had your surgery, you did it! CONGRATS! The best is yet to come for you as well - we are all living proof that it works and there is a light at the end of the tunnel
  10. LOL, thank you! I am proud to say, I do eat taco bell - just one little taco on occasion instead of 3 or more at a time, lol! Best of luck on your journey, if I can do it, anyone can! You will be so happy you did
  11. Thank you! I found it at Dillard's Never thought I would ever see the day when I'd wear something form fitting, but I went for it!
  12. Thank you!! Maybe a nice suit and tie would be more appropriate? LOL! You WILL have sucess! My dad had the surgery a year before I did and his results were jaw dropping! Wishing you the best on your journey!
  13. I'll be at my year mark on 1/29 - very happy with my results and I eat everything in moderation, always have since my surgery and it's worked well for me! So happy I made this decision ~ very happy for everyone here who has traveled with me!

    sending you a message!
  19. All of you look amazing! I love the before/after pics!! Or should I say before/during pics?!
  20. My dad is in his 50's and went through the same thing! He went from 48 pants to a 36. He was concerned because he hit his goal of 220 and the weight just kept moving. He's now over a year and a half out now and stabled out around 195 and has been within a couple lbs of that for the past few months. So eventually, the body does adjust

    Does eating get easier?

No worries, it DOES get easier! I'm 5 months out and can eat anything now - only difference is that I eat a lot less than I used to! I'd say by months 4 and on it's SMOOTH sailing for sure!
