Oh my.. I was already feeling a drink after 1.. even with all this body weight on me now! I don't drink often, but I'm curious too.. I don't want any nasty surprises in a year or so ;)

Yes, I feel it faster. I can have a drink or two over several hours and be OK, but if I drink more than 3, I have had too much.

I got pretty tipsy after two glasses of wine, but I think it's because it's been so long since I've had a drink.

I had 3 glasses of wine at a girls night out last night and I was tipsy. It used to take 6-8 just to get tipsy.

It's pretty funny, I'm such a cheap date now, don't need dinner, get tipsy off 3 wines hahahah

I definitely get a buzz earlier with only 2 or 3 beers. It used to take me a six pack before I would start feeling good. I think the ratio for me is 1beer=3beers, so its good I'm drinking less to get intoxicated.

No change for me. I am still able to drink like before being sleeved. However I can sober up really fast.

No change as far as getting a buzz quicker, but I sober up super fast though.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
