Scans are all clear. Just inflammation around old port area which isnt where my pain even is. They think it must be a muscle pull or something. They're going to give me Rx for liquid pain & an inflammatory med. Dr. Garcia in MX told me I could take Motrin....i had read we shouldnt take NSAIDS...hmmm. Pb is low 110/54 which keeps changing. Now waiting to see if the unhelpful baratric drs that I saw a few times before will see me in their office to f/u. I doubt they even will & I dont want to go bc of the way they treated me before. Good grief! Glad the tests didnt show anything but frustrating bc I dont know how to get rid of it. I cant even sleep at all! A constant pain that never subsides. This sucks.

Sarah, I'm thankful you are okay.

I am from Prairieville, Louisiana, which is very close to Hammond. I spent a summer week portaging canoes around the Finger Lakes when I was 20!

Happy Easter, y'all!

I too am not to drink milk for 10 days since I had an intolerance to it my very first shake I made. My dr said I hv to build my flora back up so im taking 2 probiotic balls 2x a day. And I LOVE MILK! Booo...it may not be permanent so I am praying to 'get milk' again!

I was not allowed to touch milk for first two weeks. Now I can, and thankfully doing good.

I'll be 3 weeks on Wed too but I'm having to make myself eat. Nothing seems appetizing to me at all but cottage cheese right now so that is what I'll be eating. My taste buds have def changed! Remember everyone is going to be different :) To me it would seem like your metabolism would increase if u ate every 3hrs so it could be a good thing. I try to drink Water when I start to have any sort of feeling that may resemble hunger but it's been only minimal.

Stalls are very normal. I stopped losing weight after my one week post op check... I was stalled for 2 weeks. Then It started moving again. I am 4 weeks out today. At one wee was down 14... nothing at two or three then from three to 4 I lost 6 so I am now at 20 down. It will come. Tour body is just adjusting and going into starvation mode. It will come around. Just stay on track

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
