  5. I had the same "cry" but it didn't last long b/c we have to re-direct and sip, sip, get your protein down and sleep and rest and recover. Walking a few times per day. Just think one day at a time. Don't get too far ahead. The sad feeling leaves faster than it hits. We are going to be HEALTHY! I know you will feel better and better! Hang in there, better days ahead....

  14. I want real food. Still on liquids 10 days post op. Taking little sips is kind of depressing b/c I can't just have a drink and be ok. No I have to swallow and wait to see if its too much and then sip and wait, sip and wait. I hope and pray we can drink and eat food a little better or I just can't say its worth it if the focas on life is still FOOD. Yes I miss food.
  15. I am jealous! I am still on clear liquids 10 days post op. Oh well, a few more days and I can have one egg. Whoop eeee

  23. try protein so you heal. I hate it too.
  24. Taking tiny sips is making it difficult to get all the protein and clear liquids down. I am walking 3-4 times a day, 15-20 min walks with my little dog who insists. I am tired of liquids. Period. All my focas is on drinking enough. I am very tired. 10 days and I've lost 23 lbs. I know its my head but I want some real food.

  26. Awesome! Rest, heal, and each day is better and better.
  27. Hang in there!! You are going to be SO MUCH HEALTHIER ! I am 7 days post-op. I chose to tell people but in the next breath I said, And I would appreciate your support." They would back off when I said "I have been researching this more than a year." Funny I know, but people are people. The waiting is difficult, but there is light at the end which is a New Beginning!!
