Haha just kidding! It's part of the ride, the first month I was crazy emotional about everything there were days that I just went back to bed and told my husband just wake me up when I can eat again!!

It does get easier though hang on :)

Your not crazy I did the same thing! I'm 3 weeks as of tomorrow & still have good days & bad! I just keep telling myself I'm down 31 pounds & keep running to my goal! U can do it .... Just remember why u did it in the first place! :-)

No, your not crazy! Your body is trying to heal itself, and causing your hormones to be out of balance. Many people go through this. I became very sensitive around two weeks, and wanted to cry over nothing. It will pass! I know, everyone says this, but it really does get easier. Hang in there..Hugs!

Thanks ladies :( hopefully it'll just get better with time

It will

Remember this is temporary

This is not the rest of your life

Very temporary

Just get your Protein, fluids in and enjoy the weight loss

You will be past all this quicker than you realize

*hugs*

Happened to me too. I was in the kitchen eating some broth. Next think I know in crying into my broth. It made it salty. Hubby comes in asks me what's wrong and I say I don't know. He even offered to bring me a puppy (our dog had a puppy) so that I could hold it to make me feel better. I have had that happen a couple of times for no reason. It's just all that extra estrogen that was trapped in your fat cells being released into your system.

Thanks everyone i sure hope so

It really does get better! I was the same way for the better part of a month. With the weight loss comes a flood of hormones that were stored in the fat and that doesn't help even a smidge! Plus, everyone else was normal and I wasn't, so I felt like an outsider in my own family. I tried to be normal and made myself sick all of the time. I would cry because of that. I would cry because I couldn't pick a restaurant to eat at because I had no cravings. I would cry because I couldn't see the progress. I would cry because my husband would make a non-hurtful joke. Hell, I would cry because he said my name differently! I was a mess. Then about a month later, I chilled out and calmed down. My father told me on my birthday in January (I was sleeved 11/12/12) "Go bake yourself a birthday cake and look at it!" I could finally laugh at jokes again and I could even crack a few good ones myself at my own expense. Hang in there and just keep the Kleenex handy!

Hey you made it two weeks without breaking down!! I made it two days and if it wasn't for this site and the people here I would probably still be broken down. I was sleeved on 1/28 and by day two I couldn't believe I had done this too myself. Now that I am about 5 weeks out, I am doing great! I am down over 45lbs since surgery and around 75lbs since I started this process. Also it's helping my family as well. I do most the cooking and now that I can have limited real food again I make everything with low fat ingredients and healthy foods. I hope everything gets better for you, if you need people to rant too we are here!

Thank u everyone I'm finally starting to not feel like an alien it's like no one gets it...

We understand ... You can always come here

Positive encouragement is what got me thru the first 6 months

We will be that for you :)

This is not forever, stay strong ... It is hard but so worth it and you will be doing awesome in no time flat :)

I too broke down day 2. I am almost 2 weeks out and feel its one step forward two steps back. I struggle with the things I need to have and feel like everything is against me. Sometimes I think my family doesn't think when they show up with fast food and I get a protein shake. At least once a day I question the choice I made. It's encouraging to hear I'm not alone and I'm looking forward to having you all for support.

This is the first I've read about the emotional roller coaster I need to get prepared for. My surgery in on the April 9, I will for sure be coming here regularly. I've been so concentrating on life after this, that I hadn't given any thought to that part of the process. Thanks for the heads up. I know it's just a temp thing!!'
