I looked around on pinterest at skinny cloths and fashions and youre right it does def help.

There was a thread on visual rewards and she had two glass containers. One w marbles. One marble for every pound she loses. When she loses a pound she will put that amount of marbles in the empty jar. The picture was pretty. It kind of motivated me. I think im gonna do it!

Good luck March 19th sleevers! This was my lucky day 1 year ago and I have been one lucky lady. Starting weight was 250, day of surgery 237, and my current weight is 163. I have had 0 complications. I would say the only little problem I had was my hair did fall out a little between months 6-9 but it was my fault b/c Protein Shakes get OLD but happy to tell you it stopped and I did not go bald:-) All in all this was the best decision of my life! I would do it over again in a heartbeat! Good luck and don't be nervous! It's really not a bad recovery! I took a week off from work but could of gone back in like 3 days! I have a cushy office job though... Anyways I hope this helps ease some of your anxiety:-)

Thanks for the positive post! I hope all of us 19th'rs have the same experience. I am on day 7 of the preop diet now and while I know that I really am not truly hungry (I got over that on day 4) I really want some Mexican cheese dip and chips. I'm now in the head hunger battle. 12lbs down so far on this pre op is a nice weapon to have in the battle though...

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
