I am a month out and I have lost 30 lbs but I've been stuck on this weight for like 2 weeks. When I weight myself i either a pound more or a pound less. This is very frustrating. Am I going to lose more weight? Is this a stall? I don't know! Please help!

Jennifer, I am 3 days out so obviously this only advice.......but from what I read stalls are real and your body is going through a transformation. Please try to be a little patience and I am sure it will move again. Also try measuring yourself....lots of subscribers says that is where the change happens.....good luck...30 lbs in a month...that is pretty awesome!!!

Very few of us lose in a steady downward direction. We lose in a stairstep fashion. These are major changes for our bodies and all our systems need a chance to adjust. You know what youre eating and you know you will lose. Be confident and stay the course.

I haven't been sleeved too long, but I try to stay away from the scale. It's discouraging when you don't see it move. It's really hard when the hubby asked if I weighed myself today. I know I've lost a couple of pounds, but am waiting until my first post-op appt on Monday to get the "official" weight from my doctor.

Just keep working your sleeve and exercising and you'll continue to lose. I'm making sure I walk at least 3 miles a day and getting in at least 8 glasses of Water. I'm managing 8-10 a day now.

Thank you everyone for the suggestion and advice. I know I'm eating good so there will not be a problem and I am just on a stall. I will let you know when my scale starts moving

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
