anyone get nauseous in the first month?

Recommended Posts

I was sleeved on 2/11 and today I came home from work cuz I couldn't get over being nauseous. I took the meds my doctor gave me and that didn't help either. This is the second time its happened, first time I took a nap and woke up feeling better. Anyone experience this and know why it happens?

Yes...lots of things make me nauseous now. It sometimes passes quickly, other times I have to go lay down. I always make sure to eat very light when I'm not at home. For me, I think I've narrowed it down to eating too much fat...which brings me to the fact that we are not supposed to get dumping syndrome... It is not pleasant at all.

Sounds good to me :-) Thank you so much! It's nice to talk to someone who is at the same point I am :-)

Sorry I probably wasn't much help. I really don't know why it might of happened. I hadn't done anything different when I experienced the nausea.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
