I'm going to miss my family. I tear up when I think about it. I know it's only 6 days but I've never even left them overnight. :*(

I'm so excited!!!! Come see me when you get all your tests done Friday incase they kick me out to the hotel before you come back Saturday for your surgery. I will be the OTHER fat white girl ????. Just kiddin! I will text you a mug shot... I should probably take a pic when I wake up... It will probably be a more accurate description of what I will look like blasted out on post surgery pain meds.....half hanging out of a sexy surgery gown. (Note to self... Pack house coat)

You are going to do great! You deserve this and your beautiful babies will reap the life long benefits of a healthy happy mama! Prioritize you and your little chicks will line up and do the same.

PS... I'm writing letters to my herd too.

I'm getting stir crazy. I'm snowed in and even if I wasn't, I still don't have anywhere me to be since I've gotten everything taken care of.

Tick tock, tock tock......

Kids keep me pretty busy though, and they have another snow day tomorrow, so. They should go back Thursday and I'll have all day to chill with the two youngest kids and lay out their outfits for the week etc.

So excited.!

Me too! 2 days til I leave bit 3 until I'm sleeved.

Starting to get cold feet (ish) again though. I'm going but lord carry me because I'm getting scared. I want to mother my children ASAP. I don't want to be in the hospital for a long period of time or anything along those lines. I want to get sleeved, come home and be hunky dory.

Amytug,

I'm so excited for you...your time has come! You will do great. Just remember that the first few hours after surgery are tough, but it just keeps getting better and better. My surgery was less than a week ago and I am feeling great I'm sending good thoughts your way...

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
