Recommended Posts

Ok so im 2 1/2 months post op and have lost a decent amount of weight. Being a ticker woman ive never had a problem with my husband

There's a lot less padding down there now, meaning that he is able to go deeper. He's probably hitting your cervix, which can be quite uncomfortable! I've had this experience and it can hurt!

I've noticed it as well. I'm almost 3 months out an I keep joking with my fiancé that he just keeps growing :). I'm not complaining- but I have noticed some positions are slightly more uncomfortable than they were pre-surgery

So you KNOW the guys are reading and just not commenting! lol. I would say

"Less cushion for the pushin' " I don't think you have a medical issue.

It is a change in how deep he can go now. Certain positions can get a little uncomfortable for me now. I have found a vibrator on my clit (can i SAY that??) will distract me from the discomfort & increase my pleasure. I know.....TMI! ????

I told a guy I was mad at him for "punching my cervix!" LOL That was when I was down about 90. Now that I'm down 150 I can't imagine what it would be like to be with him again. But, yes, it's just an issue of going too deep. He might have to be a little slower and gentler now. Work with it and see what positions feel best... probably one where you can have more control.

I would say try taking it really slow with your man. Pretend like your dating again. I'm sure you'll learn how to "receive" him again once you adjust to your new sexy body :) good luck, have fun and enjoy ;)

For me, I have noticed that my sex drive has dropped to zilch. As my weight decreases, my husband wants to intimate more and more-and I don't. He is frustrated and I don't know what to say.

I am the same way! Before surgery I was always ready to go but now I don't have much drive. I haven't said anything just let him but I wish I wanted it more because its not my boyfriend's fault. What is this?!! It sucks.

Fat stores estrogen and as you lose fat you get a big influx of estrogen in your system. Having too much estrogen is a big cause of low libido- but so is having too little estrogen!

With "LADIES ONLY" in the title, you are correct. This is the first thread we all looked at.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
