What i won't miss about been over weight.

The aches and pains

The plus size stores

The tight shoes

Dressing like an older lady

The stressful a bath can be because the shower is to small

How long it takes to dry yourself

The folds and rash of the skin

The hard it is to bend down and tie my shoes

The rubbing of my legs

Avoiding the mirror

My lack of confidence

What about u ?

This hits home. I thought I was the only one that noticed I couldn't tie my shoelaces straight.

I won't miss the kind hearted comments of you are so pretty if only you lost some weight.

The not so nice comments of you know someone of your body type or someone big like you.

I won't miss my father-in-law's comments of when you were Normal.

My Mom's comments of as if you don't like to eat.

The therapy kids I work with endless questions of why are you so big or just straight out you are so fat.

The difficulty involved in getting up off the floor.

Lane Bryant, Avenue, etc.

Buying super expensive bras bc they are the only ones that make them into size.

Getting frustrated looking in the mirror bc everything I wear makes me look like I have a little head on a line backers body.

Not sleeping bc of sleep apnea.

Getting judged on what I eat.

Achy feet and legs

Rash in the summer

All of the above but I'm actually hoping the rashes don't go away because at kaiser, if you get repeated yeast infections in your folds, tummy tuck becomes medically necessary not cosmetic, so it's a covered expense. Also breast lift if you get a rash under the girls. I would LOVE some free plastic surgery!

The look from people when I eat!

Yes, I would occasionally peer over the top of my buffet mountain food sculpture and see their looks.:rolleyes:

LMAO! You're too funny!

Buying sexy under-roos.

Go hiking for more then 10 minutes. (Colorado already sucks with the higher elevation)

Walk around and feel like people are looking at me thinking "she is very pretty" rather then "wow she is pretty chubby"

Not having people ask me when I'm due or how far along I am.

Feeling healthy and actually being healthy.

No longer ordering a large #1 from fast food.

Going to my fiancé's school events and not feeling ashamed because he is the teacher with the fat wife.

Taking pictures.

Wearing a beautiful wedding gown to my wedding.

I won't miss...

Not being able to leave the house without compression garments to hold my rolls in.

Avoiding social situations bc I would be left out when guys come to talk to/dance with all my beautiful friends.

Avoiding dinner plans bc I want to secretly eat more but not show anyone.

Going out of my way to buy candy and avoiding eye contact from people in the store due to guilt.

Looking at all the nice clothes in my closet with tags where I squeezed into them in the dressing room, thinking, "I will fit these soon." Then looking like the Michelin Man when my weight goes up rather than down.

Feeling like I'm too fat to live like I should at 25 y/o.

Hearing, "you're not THAT big." Really? I don't need your opinion. LOL

Plus size clothes, being told "u have a pretty face" when u know they are thinking "what happened to the rest of her", being able to tie my shoes without feeling like my head is going to explode and to actually cross my legs again. Not having to "lift" my stomach so I can dry under it when I get out of the shower, not be embarrassed at the beach, oh the list goes on and on...

Just wanted to apologize for the insensitivity by your own family. Shame on them! I'm sending you strength and good vibes....

I won't miss not having a neck,

I won't miss looking at myself in a barbers chair,

I won't miss breaking my shoes down within a year,

I won't miss the stress of starting a new diet and failing....

I won't miss automatically going straight to the accessories because I know this store or online store does not have my size.

I won't miss just dealing with my long hair because I can't stand having to sit that long and look at myself while getting my hair cut.

What I won't miss...

Having to stitch my pants every month cuz my thighs rubbed yet another hole in them

Not having any room in the bath tub

My double chin

3 blood pressure medications

lop sided bows on my shoes

Having to ask my husband to paint my toes cuz i can't reach

Old people clothes

having my best friend have to go into lane bryant so i can get jumbo size panties after getting her sexy panties from Victoria secrets

wearing plain white thick strapped bras to hold up DDD's

Honestly I could go on forever.....

1. Feeling like everyone is looking at you when your out in public.

2. Not being able to get a certain job because of your weight.

3. Being ignored by people because they think your unworthy of talking to.

4. Going out to eat and people watching what you are eating.

5. Going in to normal size stores and someone telling you that they don't carry your size even before you ask them anything.

I will stop for now, just reading over this and remembering this stuff makes me sad and angry.

1. Struggling to put my socks on

2. plus size shopping

3. Being self-conscience whenever I eat in public...even if its in my car

4. joint pain

5. having my stomach visible over my boobs

6. big feet

7. sore feet

8. online shopping because I don't want to go into a store

9. settling for things even though you know you deserve better, but your confidence keeps you from striving for it

10. dressing older

11. having no shape...well i guess round is a shape

12. Being uncomfortable in theatre seats

13. Worrying about getting on an airplane

14. Not being able to keep up with my two year old

Pretty much what all has been said.

Most important reached goal, is no more plus sizes. I officially can wear xl and regular 18 not 18w. And they are already getting loose!

Not feeling so uncomfortable. My fat hurts. I'm loving not being in that kind of discomfort. I still have a long way to go but ever little bit gone feels great!

Horrible self doubt. I still have issues but as the weight comes off I don't feel as much disappointment in my self. Confidence feels great!
