I'm sitting in my first WL seminar. I'm the "smallest" person in the room and my BMI is 34.5. (yeah, I'm self pay) I wish this doc would pull an Oprah and say....Surgery for everyone here today!!!!

How long have you been sleeved? 9 months or since Feb 7, 2012? I'm sorry, I just need clarification.

I"m in an envious fit that I'm not on the list yet!!! I will be. Someday.

I won't miss automatically going straight to the accessories because I know this store or online store does not have my size. I won't miss just dealing with my long hair because I can't stand having to sit that long and look at myself while getting my hair cut.

I have to go alone when I go. I know icon23 went alone. I've heard some people say...I wish I would have come alone, I felt like I had to entertain my companion and I just wanted to rest and heal. On the other hand, I'm sure there are sleevers that went alone that really wished they had someone. I am looking forward to going alone. I get some ME time. Me and ice chips and broth time.

I wanna go to Sexytown with you guys! I think I'll show up fashionably late. I am aiming for a mid/late May or early June date.

Oh my gosh! I used to have a friend that would do that to me. One of the last things she said is....Is your Mom okay? I have a weird feeling something is going to happen. (she doesn't get along with her mom and me and my mom have the best relationship with tons of love) So, EW! to my so called friend, she is no longer in my life. The "Hmmmm. I guess I have a lot of thinking to do." was meant to be sarcastic but it didn't read that way and in no way did I imply it. lol. I just felt like ranting about not getting support. I have since told my mom and she is scared but she will support my decision. No one is changing my mind. I keep changing my mind regarding the dates because of the financial part but I have tentatively decided on the middle-end of May. Hey 2013isit! I'll be back in SD for Thanksgiving/My birthday. We should meet up!

Yes! I can see the difference. Can you 'feel' the difference?

This might be a weird question for this topic but since we are all low BMIers.... Has anyone ever had a high BMI person from this forum question you on why you want this surgery?

Hmmmmm. I'm subscribing to this. I need to know what experienced sleevers have to say. I'm still pre-op and I'm getting out voted by every one I know to NOT have the surgery. Poop.

Yes, just the card will work. No need to get the book unless you are flying into Mexico. If you go across the land border, only a card is needed.
