January 23, 201313 yr So we don't have to get the passport book just the card will work? Yes, just the card will work. No need to get the book unless you are flying into Mexico. If you go across the land border, only a card is needed.

January 23, 201313 yr I just turned in my application today for the passport card. $30 for card, $25 for processing. I had my photo taken at Walgreens for $11. Total = $66. I am planning on having surgery around March 18th. I'm glad to hear yours only took 2 weeks.
