Yea Chanelle! That's fantastic!! Way to rock your sleeve girl! I just had surgery July 14th and I hope I can say the same as you in a few months. Any tips to making it work?

You look awesome Chanelle! Way to go!

my husband said maybe an hour or so. and that was mainly because i had to have central line placed and they had a hard time getting it in.

Awesome, I am glad everything went pretty smooth for you!

Is your gall bladder already out?

How are you feeling Jenn? Been thinking of you!

Been feeling pretty good. Getting my liquids in. No I still have my gallbladder. I have some rumbling through my stomach after I drink anything. I feel ready for some thicker foods like yogurt but can't have that till next week. My pain has been minimal but I did do to much yesterday and had to take some pain meds. But much better than I thought it would be.

Oh good! You are on your way! Thanks for checking in!

It's been a while since I checked in - so good to read the updates.

I'm 3 and 1/2 months post op - down 51 since surgery and 84 since preop diet :/)

Starting to see it now and feel a whole lot better health wise - just over a third of the way to goal!

Keep up the good work folks x

Awesome Golden Girl, good for you!!! Congrats on your great success!!!

Wow gold girl! Look at you go! Congrats!

had my first post-op visit. And as of today I have lost 93 pounds. its so crazy to me that in less than 3 months i have lost this much already. and its not only the numbers on the scale. today i got my seat belt on without an extender. I just find there are so many small things that i can do now that people usually take for granted.

Wow Jenn you're doing incredible. 2 weeks post op I lost 15lbs and it took me a week to lose the 10 I gained in the hospital with all the fluids. Doc said the expectation is 5 to 15% so I was on the low side with 6%. I was thrilled as I basically had lost a pound a day but doc was so negative I ended up leaving the appointment so discouraged but not going to let it sabotage my success. You're an inspiration!

thanks all, i really could not believe it when i seen those numbers. i really hope to keep up with these losses. And cathy im sorry your doc was discouraging to you. I sometimes dont think that they actually think before they say things. mine today constantly reminded me that i have "Alot farther to go and its up to you" i was thinking yes I know but are you at least glad for what I had done. Just keep pluggin along is what i am gonna do.
