  13. sorry i havent been on lately. I did have a stricture and they stretched it back out a little. Doing a lot better now. I had some crazy heart rhythms when i was waking up from EGD so i had to stay over night and now have to see a cardio doc. But other than that doing well. Thanks for checking on me
  14. glad to hear things are going well for ya, i have hit a snag. I have to have a EGD done on friday and possible dilation of my sleeve. They think i have a stricture. I have not been able to keep much down. Hoping things go well and i get back on the losing journey.
  15. Ya I think that is half my prob I am a Rn and I think oh I will be fine its prob just this or this and I guess I'm used to downplaying my symptoms. I calling doc tomorrow and I will let ya'll know what they say. Thanks for responding

  17. Hey all haven't heard from ya how are things going?
  18. Hi there I had surgery on july 22 this year have had very little issues following surgery felt good no prob. Except some very bad nausea. It started getting better and then now for the last 2 weeks I have been waking up every day with nausea and a crampy feeling in my stomach. Some days it goes away other days last the whole day and I throw up everything I eat. Not sure if this is a "normal" thing or if I should be concerned. Sorry for the long post please let me know what this sounds like to any of the vets here. Thanks in advance
  19. Woowooo. Go sophie!! I'm so excited for the journey I am on. Hoping I can keep things going this way.
  20. i worry about this also, would love to have any children i can.
  21. i work in health care and i know that we are not allowed to make anyone take something they dont agree to. Now with that being said, i was not told i had to take birth control, i was just told that my husband and i needed to take measure to prevent pregnancy from taking place, so i took that to mean wearing condoms of which other forms people may use. I have not been able to get pregnant so i was pretty against taking the pill but when i stopped and thought about it, i knew that i would not be healthy enough early on to have a baby and make sure i did everything to ensure a healthy pregnancy. I hope that you are able to continue on with your surgery and that you can find a solution that works for you.
  22. Get to go back to work tomorrow. Kind of nervous about making sure I get my water and protein in. I used to only eat at lunch and have a drink at that time and not again till I got home after 12 hrs. Hoping things go well. I'm going to weigh tomorrow also. So here's hoping for a loss.
  23. I have an easier time on the computer than my phone
  24. dave your pics are truly awe inspiring, i only hope to do as well as you. It is amazing to see every bodies transformations.
