Hello

I am currently thinking about having the vsg and I am about 446lbs! I want to know if there is anyone that was or know someone. who was over 400lbs and did awesome with the sleeve. My surgeon suggest bypass and that scares the crap out of me!

Wow Jenn you're doing incredible. 2 weeks post op I lost 15lbs and it took me a week to lose the 10 I gained in the hospital with all the fluids. Doc said the expectation is 5 to 15% so I was on the low side with 6%. I was thrilled as I basically had lost a pound a day but doc was so negative I ended up leaving the appointment so discouraged but not going to let it sabotage my success. You're an inspiration!

your doc is an idiot. doesn't he know that every person is different? i lost tons of weight at the beginning and now at around one year out i've been in a 3 month stall but my doc is very encouraging she says as long as i stick to the program it will come off eventually. besides the scale isnt everything - i dropped 1 dress size even though i havent lost a pound in these 3 months and i can walk and move a lot easier - and 1 pound a day is alot of weight to lose youre doing great!

Thanks Vicky and Jenn I really appreciate your kind words. Vicky I hope your stall ends soon and Jenn your doc should've been all kinds of super supportive. You're doing incredible!! :)

Thanks Dave I did click on the green circle but it didn't give me a galleries option just a "see all threads started by this user etc. I'm still learning this site. Not as user friendly as it could be. I'll keep trying I would love to see your inspirational pics!

I have an easier time on the computer than my phone

You look great Dave! Thanks for the inspiration! I hope everyone else has an awesome weekend...lets power through it and keep this losing train chugging along! I really really really want to FINALLY hit that 100 mark next week.

Get to go back to work tomorrow. Kind of nervous about making sure I get my water and protein in. I used to only eat at lunch and have a drink at that time and not again till I got home after 12 hrs. Hoping things go well. I'm going to weigh tomorrow also. So here's hoping for a loss.

Oh my goodness 100 pounds gone

Way to go Jenn on the 100 pound loss! You beat me to the Century club! WELL DONE GIRLFRIEND!!!! You rock! I finally made it today...whew....been stuck for a few weeks and I finally made it! Let's do the happy dance!!!!

Woowooo. Go sophie!! I'm so excited for the journey I am on. Hoping I can keep things going this way.
