Feeling frightened and excited all at the same time. I'm booked in on 14 April 2014. I have been debating weightloss surgery for over 7 years. That should give you some idea that I've also tried everything from alternate fasting, low carb, Coens to hypnotherapy!
Now after yo-yoing I know I can't do it on my own or after the next 3-4 month diet I'll regain and weigh even more. So a sleeve is my tool of choice.
Bring it on!
I have updated my Will, enduring power of attorney and medical directive. They'll be prepared for signing next week.
I know the risks and even though I should be fine the last thing I want to be worried about is the 'just in case' stuff.
I've also prepared by purchasing zip front nighty/gowns, loose fitting knickers and front closure bras and yes - a bottom wiper just in case it is too painful to reach around :-p that was a tip from a sleever on u-tube. I don't think I would have thought of that one on my own. :-)
I am finding that by preparing as best I can it makes me feel better equipped or maybe in control for the big day. Because I know I won't have control......

Thanks to all users - I've really benefitted from the posts on this site already :-)
