A Family Drama - Help!

Recommended Posts

I totally understand where you are coming from. Your heart gets so torn' date=' but your head is telling you something else and you end up in a complete battle with yourself![/quote']

The only saving grace is my daughter has horrible pregnancies. Had her appendix out during the first, had an ovary removed due to cysts forming during her second. Had kidney stones during both. The list goes on. The truly hated being pregnant so did get her tubes tied after grace was born. I can't tell you what a relief it was. I hope you're successful in having your daughter do the same. In the mean time, those walks on the beach sound so wonderful. Hope it brings you some peace while you wait for her to get her act together.

Aussie, my heart goes out to you. Drugs devastate families. I am a child of a drug addict. I really wish there was an easier solution, but there isn't. Al I can say is that my family was my savior especially my grandparents. Just keep on calling the kids let them know how much you love them. Take them places that you know they would not otherwise get the opportunity to go to.

By the time I got to Hugh school I had enough of the bull so I went to go live with my grandmother. I never looked back after that. But since in your situation your grandbabies have siblings it may be harder for them to actually leave each other.

Just continue to be loving caring grandparent.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
