February Sleevers

I'm set up for February 4th. Seems like forever away. People keep telling me, "oh don't worry". It bugs me cause I'm not worried. What seems to keep popping in my head is, am I doing the right thing.

I would like to here what others are thinking, going through.

My Doctors plan is two days preop clear liquid, not 10 like I've been reading on here. Anyone else similar?

Thanks,

Kimo

I'm done and I feel fine for now. I'm still recovering. And typing with all these things on is tough but just wanted to keep you posted.

Glad all is well. Just keep walking and sipping and pushing that button! (:

I am day two post op and the pain is manageable but I can't seem to keep my liquids down. I will keep pushin on and I know I will get over this hump.

All ready in pre op but just been told they are about an hour behind. :-(

Well it's been done ...got sleeved yesterday and I am discharged tomoww!!! Good luck to all feb. sleevers

Just got out of the hospital and on my way home now. Just a speedy (hopefully) 2 hour drive. I will have to catch up on the post-op thread tomorrow, in between catching up on Dexter. :) I ate some cream of wheat and pudding in the hospital, did alright. Kind of felt like crap after eating a couple tiny bites. I will have to really figure out where my full feeling is.

Congrats!

I was sleeved on Monday the 25th! I came out of surgery by 10am and I was walking by 3pm! I am home now and I am having a lot more gas pain! The gas just rumbles around my chest an abdomen but I don't see a BM coming anytime soon, I'm just trying to walk it out! I've read that the first 5-7 days are the hardest so I'm just trying to push through! Stay strong and focused! Just think about 2-3 months down the road!!

Hope all is going well for y'all!!

My surgeon didn't let me leave the hospital until I had some good bowel movements. That included a depository and that didn't work much so the edema did the trick. I literally felt violated lol

I'm excited to be starting my new chapter tomorrow I have surgery at 2:30pm

Best of luck to you!!!!

That was the hardest thing for me too. I took stool softner and benefiber (beware ot becomes explosive) but man it was a relief! There is light at the end of the tunnel!
