February Sleevers

I'm set up for February 4th. Seems like forever away. People keep telling me, "oh don't worry". It bugs me cause I'm not worried. What seems to keep popping in my head is, am I doing the right thing.

I would like to here what others are thinking, going through.

My Doctors plan is two days preop clear liquid, not 10 like I've been reading on here. Anyone else similar?

Thanks,

Kimo

Hello everyone! Tomorrow is my big day to be sleeved! I am more than ready! Good Luck to all who are being sleeved this month! <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Woooo Hoooooo! That's exciting!!!! Good Luck!

I woke up from surgery in extreme pain. I took 2 hours to get it under control. After that I moved to my room to my anxious husband. I was so drugged up and tired I couldn't talk much so I sent him home. I just got back from my 10 minute walk and I am feeling pretty good now.

Surgeon said my liver looked awesome and was smooth sailing. So far so good.

Starting weight 319

Surgery weight 303.

Good luck to all

Checking in tomorrow for my sleeve at 1300 hours. Nervous' date=' anxious, excited[/quote']

Thank you!

I got roses and those aren't edible. Smart husband of mine....but we took my mom out to dinner and they had a wonderful meal and I packed my jello and brought a boullion cube and the waiter gave me hot water. I accidently used a straw taking my first couple sips of iced tea and realized what I was doing. Oops!!! No harm done though. Had a nice time and their food and desert didn't bother me in the least.

Let us know how it goes. Sending prayers your way!

I have pretty good results so far. I went into this surgery with the thinking of roll with it.

I have been on my meds when its time, I've walked a total of 40 minutes since 2p until now at 10p. And religious with my spirometer (sp?). Drinking small sips and that helps

Wishing 2/14 a speedy recovery and Good luck to you 2/15 sleevers
