im beginning to think sleeve surgery is a scam

Keep in mind that calories in/calories out is not absolute mathematics. And it's not instantaneous. It's not like you drive your car 20 miles and burn 2 gallons of gas immediately. It doesn't work that way in the instant. But over time it will.

If im not consuming as much calories and moderately exercising' date=' i should have lost more than 26lbs since 12/17[/quote']

You did not gain 70 pounds overnight and you will not lose it like that either

If you haven't lost anymore weight by the time you are 6 months out and you follow the program then you can call it a scam. You have to at least give it the 6 month try.

I am sooooo confused. Lost 26 pounds in less than a month and not happy....exactly what were you expecting? Did your doctor promise you you'd wake up from surgery looking like Kate Moss?

Amen. People want a miracle while I'm here just wanting to feel healthy and will take it. Some fat people feel so entitled. That's the same rationale used to get you fat.

I think the majority of people get discouraged when they hit a stall. I know I was and I thought I was a failure. It gets better.

Try to stay positive and remain focused and on track. We will win this thing! :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
