Totally worth it!

its soooo worth it!! your new life is about to begin. cheers to an uneventful surgery. ill keep you in my prayers! ((((((hugs))))))

totally understand the anxiety. I haven't had my surgery yet...it is January 30th, but I think it will totally be worth it

I will be 3 weeks post-op tomorrow and I am LOVING my sleeve. True, there are some horror stories, but the surgery is very safe. Congratulations on your decision to take charge of your life and your health. This time tomorrow you may be thinking, OMG, WTH? BUT, it fades quickly. Good luck!

Im 17 days post op.. and it is well worth it. Its a bit hard in the beginning.. but then you adjust and it gets better.. I would do it again. I dont have that hunger I used to.. and my stomach is very small now and I cant eat much at all.. but thats ok.. Im good with that.. I am making good choices..and Im following everything that my doc and my nut. says.. also remember after surgery.. walk walk walk.. sip sip sip.. you will be fine.. best thing you will ever have done. best of luck.. let us know how you are doing.

I missed food for the first 3 weeks. I am 11 weeks out and i have to force myself to eat. I am 42 and been overweight since i was 6. Can you image

how wonderful it feels not to live my life constantly wanting to eat...it is truly amazing! I have lost 46 pds can't wait to see where i am at the end of

2013. It was the right decision for me. Good luck!

I'm 2 weeks post op, first two days was difficult but it gets better. It is so worth it.

Be blessed!!

I'm only 17 days post-op and I already know this may be the best decision I've ever made (that and my husband). I have not had one moment of regret. ZIP ZERO.... It gets kind of boring and tedious during these few weeks post-op because you are limited in choices but I know it's only temporary. I was totally relaxed the morning of my surgery. I can't explain it but I was just at peace. You will do great! Think happy thoughts.....

Thank you all for replies! Every word is an ease. Im so glad this support is available to us and without it i feel i would have come to a different decision. Will try to keep positive thoughts! :/

I'm just 2 wks post op...but I know this was the right choice! I have had no problems, I actually wanted to call my dr & make sure he actually did the surgery! I had a little nausea the first day, no pain...didn't even open my pain med! Other then the fact that I wasn't hungry....I felt fine! Now, the hunger is returning...I think it's in my head, cause I am full?

Im 10 months post op,,100 lbs down.and would do it again a million times over No Regrets

If I read this question the first week post op...I would not have replied for fear of making you more anxious. I won't lie...I was pretty weak and miserable the first week or two. Now, at week six post op, I feel completely normal. Eating mostly everything...in very small amts. I am down thirty pounds and I feel great. You will do just fine. Just realize that it is indeed major surgery and all that this entails. You will be happy in the end.
