I was sleeved on 12/18 and was doing really well and then yesterday I started feeling more pain at the area where my biggest incision was internally. It's not horrible but it just almost feels like a pulling or something. When I press the area, I can feel a hard lump which maybe was always there but if it was I never noticed it. Of course I never pressed it before. Has anyone experienced this? I see my physician on Monday but its not the surgeon and I don't know if they will know anything.

When do you experience the pain? All the time or only when moving (sitting down or up, twisting, etc.)?

Sounds like that thing with your internal incision- the NP at my office said it could be mild or severe and that people sometimes went to the ER it was so painful, but it's normal. The internal staples are dissolving or something.

It's kind of all the time. But I sneezed a couple times and was fine then-when I was first recovering it was murder to sneeze. I have had a lot of gas today so I'm hoping that is it. Like Kendra said maybe its something with the staples. Do you guys feel a lump at all or did you at any time?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
