Not hungry.. Just head hunger. I feel great with the liquids, but I rarely feel the fullness in my stomach. I'm just worried it'll be the same when I start eating and that I'll over eat and stretch my stomach. :/

I wouldn't worry I felt the same way on liquids I felt like I could just keep sipping but when I could finally eat it was a lot different I now get full very fast like 3 bites fast but full thanksgiving full lol If you can eat more than what you think you should make sure you get you 60-80 grams of Protein and then munch on some veggies hope this helps!

Remember, at this early stage you may not feel full. Your nerves were severed in your stomach and are healing. I recommend measuring everything you eat and not exceeding 1/2 cup (1/4 cup may be all you can hold early on).

Just home from the hospital today. I found I could drink a lot of the high-protein Soup, but I still have problems with the cold drinks. 1 or 2 ounces and my guts start cramping. They've got to be very cold to be able to get them down, but I think but my stomach doesn't like it. Today it took 14 hours to get 1.5 bottles down. Tomorrow I'll start with what my stomach wants.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
