My pre-op endoscope is scheduled for tomorrow - from learning about the precedure - I'm not looking forward to it.

Any advise or feedback on your expereice?

Thanks!

The idea of mine was way worse than the procedure. Ask any questions you may have and try not to stress too much. I had mine in the hospital, and the scariest thing was getting wheeled in, after that I only remember waking up feeling good.

Good luck!

I Had mine yesterday. It was a piece of cake. No worries. Today I just had a slight sore throat, not even bad enough to require a throat lonzenge. Take it easy :). the waiting is the hardest part.

OMG it is so easy you don't feel a thing. They give you a sedative and numb your throat. It is over before you know it. No worries.

I too was worried about the procedure and it was nothing to worry about! I had mine last Friday and I went shopping after the procedure...all day! I was a little groggy but my mom and I had fun shopping! No worries! Lay back relax and enjoy the sleep! :-)

Had mine last week! It was actually relaxing! No prep like a colonoscopy. Nice staff taking care of you. Got some good medicine to take a nap and tested when I got home. You will be fine!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
