I woke up today (day 3) with a headache. I took 1 tablespoon of adult liquid Tylenol and slowly sipped about 4 oz of Water. I feel quite a bit better.

Story of my life! I was sleeved 11/26 as well. I find that Water and/or Protein helps. I haven't been able to figure out what it's from though.

Me too, I think I am not drinking enough since headaches are a sign of dehydration. Just need to keep sipping i suppose

It is probably mild dehydration. Make sure you are sipping Water all day long. I found that smart water and Vitamin water zero really helped. I found warm/room temperature helped too.

Also keep track of your thyroid. I was getting migains at 6 months out and found that my thyroid meds were too high.

Don't be afraid to take some liquid Tylenol or fast melts. Your body is healing.

Good Luck

I knew I wasn't getting enough water... Dunno why I didn't associate that with my headaches

For me, it seems like headaches are due to my new food intake, I now eat very little carbs (3 1/2 weeks post-op). Caffeine helps, as long as you are not dehydrated. Also sugar helps me, have had some Coke (after shaking it to make it flat) that helps me tremendously. I am hoping that as my body adjusts to my new eating habits the headaches will subside.

Best of luck!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
