Sleeved November 11th having issue of can't stop going. I know they say liquid in liquid out. But why are most stopped up? I take the New Whey shots per doctors orders. Some advice would help. Been this way for 3 days now. Doc office closed til Monday and I have appointment to go in anyways. Just thought I'd throw that out see what kinda replies I get. Thanks

I wish I knew. All I'm doing is my Protein Shots and Water. Have had no broths. Still on liquids. I find I drink milk to get more Protein in and it settles my stomach where I can at least sleep without jumping up and down. Hopefully will find out Monday. This is driving me nuts and I don't want to get dehydrated.

Protein can make you constipated..get this product it is the best, I even used it before surgery. Organic Smooth Move tea. Use before bed and make sure you are home the next day cause it works every time.

if you take it before bed you might be waking up to "go"

I find the more backed up you are it gets a little painful cause it really moves that stuff in your intestine but the discomfort only lasts until you get to the bathroom..good luck!

You can get it at Whole Foods and I also have gotten at Walgreens. :-)

Miralax is amazing and it has no taste. Mix it in with anything liquid. It helps loosen stool.

It works, but caused terrible cramping for me.

If it causes cramping you can steep it for a less amount of time like 3 minutes instead of five or take a Water pitcher and steep it in a larger amount of water and stick it in the fridge so you drink a little at a time. You can drink it cold.

Thanks for the techniques. I may try those, but for now a daily regimen of Miralax seems to do the trick. I like how it dissolves in water not leaving any flavor or texture. I usually take a serving of miralax with about 32 oz of flavored water.

My doctor provided a what to expect book prior to op. It said will have the runs for about 5 weeks post op. I have always been a bit loose but found the 5 weeks to be right on. Was like pising out my tush. I'm not big on drugs so I just let nature take its course and drank plenty of Water. Also for me getting lots of sleep make mine looser. So when you go back to work and start getting 5 to 7 hours of sleep things might improve if you are like me.

If you are backed up might try ensure with Fiber or apple cider and make sure you get plenty of Water.< /p>

Don't forget the power of magnesium. I add that to my daily Vitamins and about 1tblspn of miralax and I usually go every day.

My stools were liquid when I was on liquids. I'm just shy of 6 months now and struggle with Constipation. I have become good friends with Miralax.

When I was all liquid I was going many times a day and now 8.5 months out I am stopped up all the time. Take the liquid while you can!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
