January 2013 Sleevers?

Recommended Posts

It will be fine. The first few days are uncomfortable but the more you get up and move around and sip on Water the better you will feel faster. Good luck to all. I'm back at work tomorrow.

I feel so good that I am thinking of going back to work next week too. I hate to jump the gun and then be sorry if I do go back and regret it.

Truthfully I could have gone back to work a couple days after my surgery but I decorate cakes on the side and had orders to get done so thought what the heck. They gave me the time. May as well take it. Glad you're feeling good.

Hey everyone, I am so much better this afternoon. I made it through the leak test this morning. I had a headache and was giving liquid loratab, I took a nap the the headache is gone! I got to shower today and have been walking. Seem to be tolorating cool not cold liquids, and some tipid not really warm broth. Dr. said surgery went smooth and the nurse says I'm a rockstar, that I am doing great!

The leak test was the worst part for me. I was so nauseous, and choking down that contrast study felt like torture.

Hi Januaries! I'm two days post now- have been feeling surprisingly good, very little pain- walking a lot- no discernible gas. Feeling awesome. Excited to see how I do with fluids and foods! Just took blue dye leak test and should be leaving the clinic today. Happiness to all!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
