Why No Alabama Sleevers? We Are The 2Nd Most Obese State In The Country.

Oh and my op date was Oct 8th. Would love to see what you all are eating and how you are doing. Personally I seem to be a slow looser. 6 weeks and only 25#.

Seriously though, congratulations and welcome to the group!

I am just down the road in Seale.

Dang it! I completely spaced out this afternoon and missed my nutritional appointment. I was waiting a whole month for it!

Hello fellow bama sleevers! I'm from West Alabama and was sleeved this week on April 23rd. The first few days were rough but I'm feeling much better!

@bamafarmchick glad to hear everything is going well. I have been curious as to how long it would take to be out and about after surgery. Keep us posted! Best wishes!

Day 5 and I felt well enough to go watch both of my boys play doubleheaders at the ball field. I sat drinking my water and ensure clear and got a little sunburned and sweaty. Actually, while at the park, my steristrips sweated off my incisions which look better than expected. I was exhausted by the end of the day but I felt really well otherwise!

I'm in Alabama and my surgery is scheduled for May 14th! I'm in Montgomery but having my surgery in Birmingham. Super excited!

Hi Bamafarmchick. Who is your doctor in Birmingham. I was sleeved 3/25/13 by Dr. Andrew DeWitt.
