I was sleeved on October 11th and since then, I hate eating. The thought of a meal make me want to cry. Even the thought of chewing make me want to puke. I have no desire for food. Does anybody else feel this way.

Yes, but it will get better. Your tummy is still healing at 6 weeks. At this time you should be drinking most of your calories (protien shakes)and eating very soft foods like Soups and wendy's chili (my lifesaver).

shakes now upset my stomach. I wish i liked yogurt or cottage cheese but I can't eat either of them. I tried every brand and flavor.

I haven't felt that way except in relation to not feeling hungry and when that happens I turn to using Unjury chicken broth: 100 calories 21g Protein. It is gentle on the tummy and I can just carry it around in a mug like a cup of coffee and sip, to get liquid and protien and the same time.

Which flavors/brands? I didn't like one brand but love the vanilla & the Key Lime flavors by Okios (a Dannon brand)

I had similar feelings for my first 4 - 5 weeks but it gradually went away. I had no interest in food and didn't think that I ever would again.

I can't get past the smell of the yogurt. It all smells really bad to me. Everyday I Hope that today is the day I'll be able to eat without forcing it. I'm hoping that day will be tomorrow! :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
