Hate Eating!

I was sleeved on October 11th and since then, I hate eating. The thought of a meal make me want to cry. Even the thought of chewing make me want to puke. I have no desire for food. Does anybody else feel this way.

Yes, but it will get better. Your tummy is still healing at 6 weeks. At this time you should be drinking most of your calories (protien shakes)and eating very soft foods like soups and wendy's chili (my lifesaver).

Shakes now upset my stomach. I wish i liked yogurt or cottage cheese but I can't eat either of them. I tried every brand and flavor.

Gig: hve u tried Greek yougart? It taste better than regular yougart, your taste buds may hve changed

I haven't felt that way except in relation to not feeling hungry and when that happens I turn to using Unjury chicken broth: 100 calories 21g protein. It is gentle on the tummy and I can just carry it around in a mug like a cup of coffee and sip, to get liquid and protien and the same time.

Which flavors/brands? I didn't like one brand but love the vanilla & the Key Lime flavors by Okios (a Dannon brand)

I had similar feelings for my first 4 - 5 weeks but it gradually went away. I had no interest in food and didn't think that I ever would again.

I can't get past the smell of the yogurt. It all smells really bad to me. Everyday I Hope that today is the day I'll be able to eat without forcing it. I'm hoping that day will be tomorrow! :)
